The Catch His Vibes Community was honored to be a part of the benefit for the Steele/Kirwan families on Sunday, February 21st. Along with a live- edge table from Beaver Pond Creek Designs, the Vibe Community donated several apparel packages including: tees, hats, visors, and decals. Robert and I helped just about any way we could. We sold 50/50 raffle tickets and helped with the silent auction too! All fundraising went to help offset medical bills incurred during Steele’s battle with cancer. We were able to help raise almost $10,000!!!
I had the privilege of meeting his grandfather, who shared with us about the wonderful time he and his grandson had, doing a Bible study together over the last year. In November, family and friends gathered on the banks of the icy Appomattox River, and watched as Steele was baptized by his father. Glory! Steele went on to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, where he has been healed of all pain and suffering.
“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
